論壇宗旨
Forum Theme
聯合國宣布2021年至2030年為「聯合國海洋科學促進永續發展十年2021—2030」(簡稱海洋科學十年)，強調海洋對於永續發展的重要性，臺灣積極響應此一國際倡議，並持續促進國際交流合作。
爰此，臺灣自2020年起，開始舉辦「臺灣海洋國際論壇」，旨在促進臺灣與國際海洋科學及海洋事務領域之專業人士及組織的互動交流。除了分享海洋科學及事務的知識與經驗外，也為推動海洋永續發展提供方向。
海洋委員會於 2025 年舉辦「臺灣海洋國際論壇」，論壇將串聯國內外產官學研專家學者，共同研討強化海域安全的策略，以及實現藍色經濟永續繁榮的路徑。此舉不僅能鞏固臺灣與區域夥伴國在海域安全上的合作，更能展現臺灣在全球及印太海洋治理中，推動藍色經濟發展與維護海洋福祉的影響力與堅定承諾。我們將以實際行動，促進海洋與氣候議題的進步，為世代共享一片安全、永續、共榮的海洋。
The United Nations has declared the period from 2021 to 2030 as the “United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021—2030)” (referred to as the Ocean Decade), emphasizing the importance of the ocean for sustainable development. Taiwan actively responds to this international initiative and continues to promote international exchange and cooperation.
Therefore, since 2020, Taiwan has been organizing the “Taiwan International Ocean Forum.” This forum aims to foster interaction and exchange between Taiwan and international professionals and organizations in the fields of marine science and maritime affairs. In addition to sharing knowledge and experience in marine science and affairs, it also provides direction for promoting the sustainable development of the ocean.
The Ocean Affairs Council will host the “Taiwan International Ocean Forum” in 2025. The forum will bring together experts and scholars from industry, government, and academia, both domestically and internationally, to jointly discuss strategies for strengthening maritime security and pathways to achieving sustainable prosperity for the blue economy. This initiative will not only solidify cooperation in maritime security between Taiwan and its regional partner countries but also demonstrate Taiwan’s influence and steadfast commitment to promoting blue economy development and safeguarding maritime well-being in global and Indo-Pacific ocean governance. Through concrete actions, we will advance progress on marine and climate issues, contributing to a safe, sustainable, and prosperous ocean shared by all generations.
